Traditional Values, Modern Innovation.

We focus on proven businesses in practical, real-world industries — manufacturing, commercial and industrial services, specialty trades, tech-driven operations, and regulated industries. We are not trying to flip companies quickly or rely on financial engineering. We buy them, improve them, and keep them.

Long-Term Ownership

We buy to hold. Our structure is designed for permanent ownership, not a three-to-five-year exit. When we acquire a business, we plan to keep it.

Disciplined Execution

Clear processes, steady management rhythm, strong accountability, and capable leadership. We value stability over chaos and structure over heroics.

Practical Industries

Businesses that do real work — services, trades, manufacturing, and compliance-driven operations. Things the economy needs regardless of what markets do.

Our Team

SS
Skip Spearman
Managing Partner
Deals, Capital & Risk
Atlanta, Georgia

Skip has spent over 25 years in operating leadership across multiple regulated industries. A physician and materials engineer (Auburn) who graduated first in his medical school class, he brings a combination of skills to Falcon — the ability to read complex situations, assess risk, and make high-stakes decisions under pressure.

As CEO of a multidisciplinary healthcare organization for 16 years, he managed complex compliance environments and earned six consecutive CMS Five Star Quality Awards. As COO of a commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical contractor since 2016, he has scaled the business from a small local operation to a trusted partner with multiple product lines serving premier brands across six states in the food, beverage, and biomedical industries.

At Falcon, he leads deal sourcing, underwriting, capital structure, compliance, and risk management. His focus is on finding the right businesses, structuring deals that protect downside, and ensuring every acquisition clears a high bar before capital is committed.

PT
Patrick Thomasson
Managing Partner
Operations & Value Creation
Dallas, Texas

Patrick brings over 25 years of operational and engineering leadership to Falcon, from hands-on manufacturing to executive oversight of complex defense systems. During a 22-year career at Raytheon, he rose to Senior Director, leading manufacturing and quality operations at 39 sites across 16 states. He managed teams of over 400 professionals and drove multimillion-dollar improvements across radar and electronic warfare programs — environments where precision, reliability, and process discipline are non-negotiable.

A mechanical engineer (Texas A&M) and former Air Force officer, Patrick built his foundation during five years as a manufacturing engineer in electronics and semiconductor capital equipment. That time on the production floor gave him a ground-level understanding of how things actually get built — a perspective that still shapes how he evaluates and improves operations today.

At Falcon, Patrick leads post-acquisition operations — installing clear cadence, visibility, accountability, and lean discipline to strengthen the businesses we acquire. His focus is on building teams and systems that deliver consistent results over time.

Why This Partnership Works

Skip and Patrick have been close friends for 25 years. Their partnership at Falcon is built on aligned values, mutual trust, and a shared belief that real operators — not financial engineers — build the best businesses. Skip leads deals, risk, and capital. Patrick leads operations and value creation. Neither seeks the spotlight. They challenge each other without fallout and hold each other to the same high standards they expect from every business they touch.

Our Approach

Falcon operates with a straightforward philosophy: buy sound businesses we understand, improve them through disciplined execution, build better operations, develop strong leaders, and reduce chaos. We are backed by long-term capital and structured for permanent ownership — not a fund with a countdown clock.

How We Work

1

Identify

We look for durable businesses in industries we understand — with steady cash flow, loyal customers, and essential services.

2

Evaluate

We confirm the facts. Thorough review of financials, operations, customers, people, and risks — with clear criteria and no wasted time.

3

Structure

We build a deal that works for everyone — fair terms, conservative financing, and a clear plan for how the transition will work.

4

Transition

We work closely with the outgoing owner and existing team. No chaos. Structured onboarding that preserves what is working while preparing for improvement.

5

Improve

We install clear management cadence, strengthen processes, invest in people, and build the kind of operations that run well without heroics.

Who We Work With

For Owners

Your business deserves a careful next chapter.

We are a real buyer with real capital. We aim to preserve what is already working, invest in people and training, and protect what you built. The process is clear and straightforward — no games, no drawn-out negotiations, and no surprises after the handshake.

For Brokers

We get deals done.

We are credible, prepared, and specific about what we are looking for. We move quickly but do not get sloppy. We communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and are willing to meet owners early in the process. We want to be the counterparty you call first.

For Capital Partners

Conservative, transparent, operator-minded.

Falcon is backed by long-term capital and focused on businesses we understand. Our approach is conservative, our reporting is clear, and our decisions are driven by disciplined process — not hype. We buy solid businesses, improve operations, and protect downside. We aim to be the team you want to back on the next deal.

For Lenders

Disciplined borrowers. Clean reporting. No surprises.

We understand risk and do not stretch. Our deal structures are conservative, our financial controls are tight, and we prioritize clear communication. We aim to be straightforward to work with and a reliable addition to any bank portfolio.

For Future Team Members

High standards. Clear expectations. No chaos.

We are building workplaces that exceptional people actively seek out. That means steady leadership, real accountability, room to grow, and a plan that makes sense. We hire and develop people who are humble, hungry, and smart — and we invest in them for the long run.

For Business Owners

If you have spent years building a business — hiring the right people, earning the trust of your customers, working through hard seasons — the idea of handing it to someone else can feel like a risk. We understand that. Falcon was built by operators who have spent decades running businesses, managing teams, and navigating the kinds of challenges that do not show up on a balance sheet.

We are not a fund with a deadline. We are long-term owners. When we buy a business, we plan to keep it, improve it, and build on the foundation you created. We are not looking to cut staff on day one, rebrand everything, or strip the business for parts. We want to understand what works, preserve it, and make it better.

We treat every acquisition as a relationship, not a transaction. Your business is not a line item to us — it is the next company in a family of companies we are building for the long run.

Here is what you can expect from Falcon:

A clear process. We will tell you exactly where we are, what we need, and what happens next — from the first conversation through closing and beyond. No guessing. No games.

Respect for your people. We invest in people and training. We install clear management systems — accountability, visibility, and a steady rhythm — so that your team can do their best work without the chaos that often follows a sale.

A structured transition. If you want to stay involved, we welcome that. The transition will be planned, organized, and built around what works for both sides.

Honesty. If your business is not the right fit for us, we will tell you quickly and respectfully. We would rather say no early than waste your time.

Selling your business is a major decision. We do not take that lightly — and we will not ask you to either. If you are thinking about what comes next, we would welcome the chance to have a conversation.
